Empowering Communities Through Actions

Matu Community of Queensland is a charitable organization that provides practical relief, support, referral pathways and community-based programs for people and families experiencing hardship, social exclusion, distress and other disadvantages, particularly among youths, families, and individuals from Logan communities.

We provide practical assistance, culturally responsive support, education support, youth wellbeing initiatives, and referral pathways that help reduce barriers, strengthen resilience, and improve access to services and opportunities. Our work is grounded in early intervention, community connection, and safe, inclusive support for people who may otherwise face disadvantage, exclusion, or limited access to help.

  • settlement and service-access barriers
